As part of their $20 Million dollar investment strategy, Nissin Brake Georgia expanded the facility to increase production and add more employees. The design team partnered with Coast 2 Coast to provide existing condition documentation and better plan for the multiple phases of construction intended at the Rock Spring facility.
Known for the ability to perform surveys without disrupting normal business operations, our field team worked with plant leaders to plan measurements around production schedules. To collect measurements around plant equipment, surveyors used advanced laser scanning technology. In addition, the Total Station was used to measure the large expanses in the factory.
Final deliverables included AutoCAD drawings detailing the floor plan, equipment blocks, heavy-duty ARU units along with extensive photo documentation linked to the drawings.
