To meet the corporate brand compliance deadline for the installation of new GMC dealership signage, the contracted sign company needed to manufacture both the new signs and the building cladding in their facility. Coast 2 Coast team was an ideal partner for gathering precise measurements and an accurate inventory for each site. The communication and collaboration of Coast 2 Coast Account Executives helped the project team define the scope and the best approach while our logistics and project management teams orchestrated the field team execution. Laser scanning was the tool of choice in this case because it offered ¼ accuracy, regardless of height or obstructions on site. The exterior elevation data allowed the manufacturer to produce the appropriate signs and cut the Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) used for cladding to exact size from the safety of their shop.
